Hello Scouts
June
9th is a Troop Court of Honor as well as the Eagle Court of Honor for Connor Fox
and Kevin Murphy. The Court will be held at 7 PM at the Parish Center on
Holliston. Please be in attendance, wearing a Class A uniform (hats are
mandatory!) and this could be a great time to break out that fancy medal you
earned on the Isaac Davis Trail in April. Merit badge sashes are to be
worn over your shoulder, not your belt.
The canoe trip is
coming up fast. If you have not already given Mrs. Scanlon your name, do it now
- please! If you were not sure about whether you could attend, or anything has
changed, get Mrs. Scanlon your info now. We need to order canoes very soon, so
we need an accurate head-count. One thing that might not have been mentioned, as
in years past, a group will be leaving on Friday @ 2 PM, to beat the traffic and
set up the campsite. Please keep this option in mind.
June 16th
will be our final Troop meeting of the year. Please make certain that the
advancement chart is up-to-date. Get all advancement signed off and on the
chart. Completing a requirement in April or May and attempting to reconstruct it
and have it signed off next September is unacceptable. Do it now - or you
will have to re-do the requirement again!!
